Hi friends!
Today’s journal theme is “Give yourself praise and evaluation.”
It feels a little awkward to write this one, because honestly, praising myself has never been easy. It’s so much simpler to point out my flaws than to recognize the small victories I’ve achieved along the way. But today, I want to take a quiet moment with myself, not to judge, but to listen and understand.
So, to myself, thank you for making it this far. Thank you for keeping on walking, even on the days that felt too heavy, on the days when no one truly knew how much strength it took just to show up. You may not always be strong, not always perfect, but you keep trying, and that’s something to be proud of.
I know there are days when you feel like you’re not enough, when you feel behind, or when life feels like it’s moving faster than you can handle. But take a moment to look back, you’ve overcome so many things that once scared you.
You’ve grown into someone calmer, wiser, and more grounded in the understanding that growth doesn’t need to be rushed, as long as you keep moving forward.
As for the evaluation part, maybe you still need to learn not to be too hard on yourself. You often expect yourself to always perform well, to never make mistakes, when in fact, it’s completely human to get tired and need a break. Learn to rest, not because you’re giving up, but because you also deserve to breathe and enjoy the journey.
You also need to trust more that what’s meant for you will find its way at the right time. There’s no need to compare your path to anyone else’s, everyone has their own season, their own rhythm.
So today, I just want to say, you are enough. You deserve happiness. You deserve to rest.
And even if you haven’t reached all your goals yet, don’t forget to be grateful for how far you’ve already come.
A warm hug to myself, and to anyone reading this who’s also learning to love themselves, one gentle step at a time. 🌷
