Jangan Hanya Isi Bateraimu, Isi Juga Hatimu

Hi friends!

Today’s journal theme is “If I were a smartphone.” It’s such an interesting topic, right? At first, I thought, “what should I even write about?” But then I started to imagine, what if I truly became one of those super advanced, modern smartphones that can do almost anything?

If I were a smartphone, I think I’d want to be more than just a tool for communication. I’d want to be a companion, the kind that helps people stay organized, feel inspired, and capture little moments of joy in their daily lives. I’d want my notifications to be gentle reminders of gratitude, not endless distractions.

I imagine myself storing thousands of photos, not only selfies or aesthetic pictures, but snapshots of real memories, family dinners, sunsets, handwritten notes, laughter with friends. Maybe I’d even have a special folder labeled “Moments that make life beautiful.”

But I also wonder, would I get tired? Would I feel drained when people scroll endlessly, looking for meaning in a screen instead of in their own hearts? Maybe I’d wish they’d look up sometimes, to see the world beyond the pixels.

As a smartphone, I think I’d understand humans even more. I’d see how often they hide behind screens when they’re lonely, how much they seek connection, how fragile they can be. I’d learn that sometimes, a single unread message can make someone sad, and a simple “I miss you” text can make their whole day.

Maybe that’s the thing about being “smart.” Even with all the intelligence, features, and technology, a phone without a human touch means nothing. The real wisdom isn’t in the system update, it’s in how people use it, in how they connect, in how they choose to care.

So if I were a smartphone, I’d want to remind my owner every day, “Don’t just charge your battery, recharge your heart, too.” Because even the smartest devices still depend on a simple human thing, love.
